 FUTON FRAMES
The futon frame is the 'body' of the complete futon set. The type of arm and finish you choose gives the futon its 'style'. There are many futon frame manufactures who use different types of wood for their frames. The sturdiest frames are made from hardwoods. Oak and Elm are a couple of the hardest woods used in futon frames. They have the richest look because of the defined grain in the wood. These frames are usually in the 'high end' catergory in price. The most common hardwood used is rubber wood. These are hardwoods from the Far East, such in places like Indonesia and Malaysia. These are called 'Imports', and are generally less expensive than American oak frames. The majority of futon frames are made from this hardwood. Pine is the third common wood used in the manufacturing of futon frames. Pine is a 'soft' wood, and is not as durable as the hardwoods. These frames are usually at the lower end of the price spectrum. Choose the type of wood that best suits your needs. |

Please call or email us for pricing on our products. Standard size futon frames make into a full size bed. Most frames are also available in queen size . Some styles are also available in twin and full love seat sizes, and 28" chairs. Prices vary according to frame style and mattress selection. Futon covers are purchased separately. Prices DO NOT include shipping or local delivery. Shipping one futon frame and mattress varies from $100 to $200 in the continental USA. Local delivery and assembly in the greater Oklahoma City area varies from $40 to $75. We will deliver and assemble futons anywhere we can drive to, with the price depending on location and drive time. |
